Bumbling Babble
I matched with a dude over at the bee place and his opening question was how many house plants are too many? So I said that I only have a couple that have managed to survive, my wisteria outside is growing wild.
He then replies that we should grab some drinks and have fun.
Now, knowing that ALL dating sites are riddled with scammers and dudes just looking for instant gratification, I interpreted that to mean "let's fuck." I simply replied that drinks aounds great and left it at that.
I didn't hear back and was about to unmatch when he suddenly asked if I were free that afternoon. I didn't notice the message until that evening since I was out with a friend. I told him I was out and he said enjoy.
A bit later, he asked, night cap? That was when I told him about the impression I got that he was only interested in getting laid. He told me to not judge him til I got to know him.
Does the dude not realize that he basically has a small window to made a good impression? He wasn't doing a good job so far.
Then he asks when I'm going to send him a face pic. I told him he'll see my face in person. Then he said that he's in another part of Tokyo and to come out to see him. I was already on the train half way home so I told him no, but Friday works.
He came back saying that Friday was reasonable but it wasn't fair that I don't send him a face pic when he used his on his profile, then goes on to ask if I'm only enjoying the chase.
He's annoyed me enough so I unmatched him.
The dude chose to use a face pic in his profile. Never asked him to. Besides, if nothing in his profile piqued my interest, I would’ve swiped left. Face pics mean nothing to me. A pretty face with no substance is about as useful as using chopsticks to dig in the desert.
He tells me not to judge him before I get to know him. But wasn’t he judging me as being unfair because I wouldn’t share a face pic? Who’s the judgey one now?
Entitled fucker.
