Refreshing
Well, that was refreshing.
I matched with the dude at the bee place and he suggested to do a video chat before we meet. I was all for that suggestion. It took a few days to organize the call, but it happened while I was out and about shopping.
We ended the call with talks about scheduling a meet.
A few days later, I get a message from the dude that he met someone else, but he said he wanted to let me know instead of ghosting me. In times when it's the norm to ghost to avoid any unpleasantness, this was a refreshing change of pace.
I'm pretty sure it was a mutual thing where it was the case of "not exactly my type, but seems to be a nice person, so let's see how things go."
On a totally unrelated note, my travel buddy sent me this pic of me with the horse. Man, my hair looks super curly! 😂
