Oops!!
As many of you in Blogsville know, I ride a scooter. I ride the type of scooter where I can store a helmet under the seat. A former playmate once told me that it's the first time he's seen a scooter with a trunk 😂 That's precisely how I use that compartment--like a trunk.
It was sprinkling last night on my way home. I got woken up by an announcement warning about heavy rain. I can hear the rain pouring down, thank you very much.
Fortunately, although it was quite wet outside, it did stop raining. I get to my scooter and I can't believe what I did the night before . . . I left the seat open! My jacket, my gloves, my shopping bags, and everything else I store in my "trunk" are sopping wet! Noooooooo! 😱 I can't believe I did that! Never have I ever left the seat open like that before! 😶 Definitely not when it's pouring outside!
No, my "trunk" didn't turn into a pool. The thing has drainage. I took all my stuff out, took them inside, dumped them on the tile in my bathroom, got myself another jacket and pair of gloves, and headed for work.
Have you had any "oopsie" moments lately? I'm not the only one who does stupid shit, am I? 😂
