You can't fix Stupid . . . but . . .

While the comedian Ron White has once famously said, "You can't fix stupid," one can attempt to educate. This is what I've been preaching to the site for ages now. I've been asked to get some feedback on what the opposite sex can do to attract people's attention, so I posted What do you truly desire? .

Right after I sent the responses in a nutshell, the following posts were posted by the magazine editor. The timing was uncanny. I'm sure these posts were already in the works by the time I sent over my short report, but the content was pretty much in line with that I've been talking about with the site. While those who join are technically adults (in age, at least, never mind the mentality), there's much to be desired on how a good chunk treat others. Adults shouldn't have to be reminded to how to behave in a manner that would be appealing to those whom they're interested in. Sadly, many of the "adults" joining this site do need to be reminded. So the site is considering an onboarding program.

The more feedback the site can get, the better the program will be, for new and existing members alike, especially women who bear the brunt of the unappealing behavior. Ideally, the site will become less toxic for the real women looking for real connections.

What do you think about the articles? What else should be included in the onboarding program? Would videos be better than written articles?

While the Community might be small in comparison to the total membership, we're the ones who're actually here, interacting with others, listening, helping each other out, and sending in our two cents to make the site a better place for all. We aren't just bitching, moaning, and whining. Good ideas and suggestions come out of venting at times. amirite?

  1. I will have to check these links out to read the articles, so Thanks for adding them in here. I would think the site may have taken your thoughts on the issue and made them into these articles. You are one knowledgeable and wise woman..

    2. While the Customer Service Dept is trying to educate newbies, it doesn't help that the Marketing Dept resurrected the "Get Laid or Get an Extension" campaign 🙄
