HNW--the 678th . . . Shower/Bath
I'll be keeping up with the Wednesday tradition here, although it'll never be the same. I'll be following the theme I came up with. All are welcome to join me here. I miss the Wednesday storytelling 😉
We all know how much I love my bubble baths. Unlike the bathtubs at "love hotels," the tubs at business hotels are made to be a perfect fit for my 5' frame. Yes, that means that the tubs are really small.
This pic is from when I took a trip to Kyoto a couple of years back. This is probably one of the rare times I didn't get any wine and cheese to enjoy while I'm soaking my weary bones after a day of walking around, seeing the sights.
Is there something you like to do when you're traveling?
BHL's Half-Nekkid Wednesdays--HNW has turned into a weekly tradition thought up by BlackHeatLust, a fellow blogger from Michigan. Who'd've thought that one idea would've spread so far and wide and loved by so many? Tho BHL isn't with AFF under this handle anymore, let's make sure that we give credit where credit is due and not assume credit where it doesn't belong, shall we? Thanks for the fun Wednesdays, George!
Happy Half-nekkid Wednesday!
The cherry blossoms are almost in full bloom and there's a canopy of pink hanging above the street. The wild cherry blossoms (white blossoms) up in the mountains are also in bloom. What's weird this year is that I'm also seeing white plum blossoms blooming at the same time. Normally, they blooms earlier than the Somei Yoshino blossoms. The weeping cherry blossoms, which usually bloom just a bit later, are also in bloom.
The sad thing about the cherry blossom season is that it rains a lot. The forecast is rain all week just as the blossoms came in full bloom. Blossom viewing is a thing in Japan, where the Japanese and foreigners alike flock to parks to have picnics under the cherry trees, day or night. It's usually the new hire's job to stake out a good spot and babysit the spot until the rest of the team shows up. I don't do the picnic thing, but I like going to different parks to take pics.

We have so many things in common you and I. Our January birthdays and being the same age and our height...lol. The rain now also but unfortunately mine is turning to snow once again later this afternoon and into tomorrow.. Happy HNW to you..
ReplyDeleteSnow in April ... 😐
DeleteLots of it right now too and still snowing. It sucks.lol.
DeleteNo snow, but the temps took a plunge. Brrr!
DeleteAs a fellow member of the "short club" I get it. I fit in most bathtubs that others don't. :)
ReplyDeleteStill living for the cherry blossoms!
Happy HNW
I usually don't have to duck when going through the underground passages, either 😂
DeleteWhen travelling and staying in a hotel, I love to have a big fried breakfast with lots of coffee.
ReplyDeleteHappy HNW!
I usually enjoy breakfast at the hotel if it's included. Some places charge separately
DeleteA very nice HNW photo. Just enough areola peeking out of the bubbles to allow the imagination to color in the rest.
ReplyDeleteI am not one for a tub. At 6', and with back issues, they typically are not comfortable. A hottub is not so bad, but I am too cheap to buy one.
Thank you for sharing your springtime blossom photos. Only flowers I have seen thus far are daffodils, and at present we have snow on the ground, that will be melted soon.
🤠
The Japanese daffodils usually bloom in January 🙂
Delete❤️. Just found there's an emoji for love hotel 🏩
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute emoji 😂
DeleteOoo... nice pics. I'll have to come back tomorrow and enjoy them again: we're expecting the snow coming in from Joy's part of the planet. 😲
ReplyDeleteWinter is still kicking up a fuss, hey? 😐
DeleteLucky you, to be able to fit in a pint-sized tub! Not the case for me. Happy HNW!
ReplyDeleteMosts bathtubs at these business hotels are tiny 😂
