Taco Tuesday

 Behold

These tiny tacos were really good. I don't come across a vendor that offers homemade tortillas that often. The food truck owner was once a white collar worker who got burned out and went to Mexico for a change of pace. He learned how to make tacos there, brought his skills back to Japan, opened a food truck and now owns a restaurant over near Mt. Fuji. His truck will sometimes be parked within walking distance from where I work so I can stop by and enjoy some good food and pick up a couple of words here and there in Spanish.

  1. Oh wow, those look almost as good as what you can get here. We have a rather large Latin population. There's this taco truck that sits right around the corner once the nights are warm...oh so good.

  2. It's rare to find a taco truck, much less one that makes homemade tortillas. The spicy sauce on top was delish!

    1. I want to visit this food truck owner's restaurant someday. It's a good day trip from where I live. It would be fun to go with friends.

  4. I love the idea of a taco truck in Japan. I'm not sure why that tickles me so much. I guess I expect other countries to only eat their style of food? That's so silly of me :)

  5. One can get just about any type of cuisine in Tokyo and surrounding areas. Plus the food can be better in Japan than originating country since the Japanese are so picky about the ingredients.
